Players are limited to scoring 3 goals per game.
Generally one goalie will play an entire game. Coaches are encouraged to rotate players so that anyone who wants an opportunity to play in net gets the chance.
If one team is short players, Coaches will meet before the game to discuss swapping options to even out the numbers and skill level.
In the instance of a runaway score (greater than 7 goal differential), the game is awarded to the winning team. Coaches may then swap players to equalize the teams and begin a new game with the score reset, time permitting.
Penalties will be called as they occur. Referees can expect the cooperation and support of coaches and parents when calling penalties.
Minor penalties will be 2 minutes in duration and are served by the offending player. In the even the player’s shift ends prior to serving the full 2 minutes, the player will complete the penalty at the beginning of their next shift before re-joining the game.
Will result in an immediate suspension for the remainder of the game plus one additional game. The offending player will be required to make appropriate apologies to players and coaches before being allowed to rejoin the team.
Foul language, taunting and other unsportsmanlike conduct is not permitted and may result in benching and/or suspension of the offending player at the discretion of the Referee and Coach.
